Luis Suarez is caught up in a fresh controversy after appearing to bite Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini. Footage from various angles shows Suarez making contact with the defender, but it is as yet unclear whether he bit or headbutted the Italian.
Chiellini then raises an elbow to Suarez, who dives to the ground.
Shortly after Diego Godin scored for Uruguay, putting them 1-0 up and setting them on course to qualify for the last 16.
"Suarez is a sneak and he gets away with it because FIFA want their stars to play in the World Cup.
"I'd love to see if they have the courage to use video evidence against him. The referee saw the bite mark too, but he did nothing about it."
Jim Boyce, Britain's FIFA vice-president and head of FIFA's referees committee said: "I have watched the incident several times on television. "There is no doubt Luis Suarez is a fantastic footballer but, once again, his actions have left him open to severe criticism.
It is the latest incident in a string of high profile controversies for Luis Suarez, who bit Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic at the end of the 2012/13 Premier League season.
