Amul Girl started learning Sanskrit as third language and finding it little tuff, but its good we know our own languages as well. I feel it should have been imposed from next session and without affecting students already opted language in this year. Also any foreign language could be an additional option as hobby language in today's world.

The decision that Education Minister Smriti Irani has taken in national interest asks the Kendriya Vidyalayas or central schools in India to drop German as an alternative to Sanskrit as a third language.

On the controversial decision to replace German with Sanskrit as the third language in some 500 centrally-run Kendriya Vidyalayas, Irani said that teaching of German under an MoU signed in 2011 had been in violation of the Constitution. An investigation has already been launched to find out how the MoU came to be signed.

The reason cited is a three language policy - Hindi, English and Sanskrit or a modern Indian language. Since the decision comes in the middle of a school year, it’s a double whammy for the kids - they have to stop their favourite German and opt for Sanskrit. With other subjects already burdening them, this is an unnecessary stress that our HRD minister has imposed on them. If they still want to study German, they can do it as a hobby language.

About 68,000 students of class 6 to 8, likely to be affected by the decision, will be given an option to pick the language of their choice as annual exams are barely three months away. The KVs will provide counselling to the students. 

In a globalized world of education and opportunities, students should be allowed to choose language of their own choice. All over the world, kids are encouraged to learn foreign languages that will expand their future possibilities. So idea of Hobby Language holds good for any foreign language and third language should be Indian language only.

In Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar," which opened in theaters around the world earlier this month, its shown that Wormholes are theoretical tunnels through the fabric of space-time that could potentially allow rapid travel between widely separated points — from one galaxy to another.

In Interstellar, Earth is becoming unlivable due to environmental changes and the Oscar winner's character, a NASA test pilot, farmer and widower named Cooper, is recruited for an important mission: To lead a team of astronauts, including one played by fellow Academy Award recipient Anne Hathaway, and take an experimental spacecraft out to space to find a new planet to live on. The movie also deals with time travel.

Interstellar clearly falls within the domain of true sci-fi. The producers were clearly inspired by the science, and they even used the time dilation from Einstein’s general theory of relativity to enhance the drama and ask interesting moral questions of the characters. Earth is dying and NASA scientists led by Professor Brand (played by Michael Caine) realize that humanity needs to find another planet to avoid extinction. And just when the situation turns critical, a wormhole magically shows up near Saturn. Who put the wormhole there, and why, is suggested near the end. It enables spaceships to travel to another galaxy, where they enter a region of space near a black hole named Gargantua and about a dozen potentially habitable planets.

Amul Girl wont get chance to see Kim Kardashian in Big Boss Season 8.

Colors, a local lifestyle TV company, announced earlier in the week that Kim Kardashian would be joining its Bigg Boss show, an Indian version of Big Brother, for a cameo appearance en route between Australia and Dubai.

Kim Kardashian, 34-year-old American who shot to fame with popular television series Keeping Up With The Kardashians, was supposed to make a trip to India to promote her new fragrance Fleur Fatale. and appear in Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss 8, Unfortunately, her trip has been cancelled as failed to obtain a visa in time

The deal with Kardashian, who is married to the rapper Kanye West and has a one-year-old daughter, appears to have been worked out at the last minute following the publication of a photo shoot last week, in which she posed nude, and which received significant attention on Indian social media.

On Occasion of Dr Verghese Kurien’s 92nd birth anniversary, AMUL is celebrating National Milk Day on 26th November 2014. Dr Verghese Kurien, also famously known as the father of Milk Revolution in India dedicated his entire life to the cooperative movement in India. Due to his faith in farmers of India, India turned from a milk deficit nation to the highest producer of milk in the world.

To celebrate empowerment, self sufficiency and prosperity National Milk Day will be celebrated across the country. There are more organisations which which was started by the pioneer which includes includes Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation, IRMA and NDDB. His commendable works got him praises from the then Prime Minister of India, Lal Bahadur Shastri who appointed him as the founder chairman of National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) in 1965. He passed away on September 9, 2012 in Gujarat.

Finally police arrest ‘Godman’ Rampal , ending the nearly two-week standoff between his supporters and security personnel, which escalated into violence and high drama on Tuesday.

Rampal's ashram at Barwala in Hisar is spread over an area of 12 acres. The ashram complex had a 20-feet wall all around for fortification. It was this wall that the security forces found hard to penetrate when they tried to enter the complex on Tuesday. Ashram followers claimed that Rampal had made provisions for being bathed in milk while he meditated and the same milk was used to prepare kheer (rice-based sweet), which was served to the followers saying this will bring happiness in their lives. Rampal is believed to have been living in this five-storey house in one part of the ashram complex which was secured from the rest of the area. The building was also home to his close aides.

Amul Girl in Dikri style ask to eat drink and JIYO Parsi

The Parsi community is one of the most peace loving and god fearing communities. The Parsis are followers of one of the oldest, if not the oldest revealed religion in the world - Zoroastrianism. Globally, as a community, the Parsis number barely a hundred thousand and its on decline so JIYO Parsi campaign started.

A new advertisement campaign, launched as part of the central Indian government's Jiyo Parsi ("Jiyo" means "to live") scheme, has raised many eyebrows. The scheme, run by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, is aimed at increasing the size of the financial capital Mumbai's Parsi community, which currently stands at 40,000. Some of the ads, professionally produced, have text telling young men to "break up" with their mothers and to multiply. The ads pose tongue-in-cheek advice and questions.

This government led programme, Jiyo Parsi, intends to use medical technology to boost the population of the fast shrinking Parsi community. It also created some buzz on Twitter.

The Mudgal report came out earlier this month and has found ICC chairman and sidelined BCCI president N Srinivasan not guilty of either betting or fixing, or of having tried to prevent the investigation into the IPL 2013 corruption scandal. It has mentioned that Srinivasan and four other BCCi official knew about an IPL player violating the code of conduct, but took no action. The name of the player and the details of the IPL code of conduct violation are not yet specified.

Amul Grand Maska Championship between Viswanathan Anand vs Magnus Carlsen

The FIDE World Chess Championship match between defending champion Magnus Carlsen and his challenger Viswanathan Anand is taking place from November 7 to 27, 2014 in Olympic Media Center located in the Adler City District of Sochi, Imeretinsky Valley, on the Black Sea.

Amul Girl along with Hitman Rohit Sharma scores historic ODI double century. He became the highest run-getter in a ODI innings when he scored 264 against Sri Lanka in the fourth ODI at Eden Gardens on Thursday. After scoring his first double century (209) against Australia in Bangalore on November 2, 2013 Rohit Sharma created history by scoring 264 against Sri Lanka and becoming the only cricketer with two double tons in a ODI .

It could be considered as a dream return from injury, Rohit Sharma lived it at Eden. Rohit's 264 off 173 balls included 33 fours and 9 sixes, which calculates to 186 runs in boundaries. Incidentally, it's also a world record for most fours in a single innings.
