Amul Girl asking cab service Uber why they were not cautious.

The 32-year-old cab driver, who allegedly raped a young financial executive on Friday night, would not have been behind the wheel of the Uber taxi had the US-based company run a background check and perhaps got police verification done, given that he had earlier been jailed for the very same crime.

Shiv Kumar Yadav, who was arrested on Sunday in his home town Mathura, is a repeat offender, it was revealed during his initial interrogation by the police.

Delhi government on Monday banned all operations by private cab service Uber with immediate effect and blacklisted it from providing any transport service in the national capital in the wake of the alleged rape incident in a taxi plying for it.

Similar kind of ban is coming across different cities. Its should be mandatory for operator to follow all cab service guidelines and background check on drivers, but in addition to that we still need some tough laws for culprits so that some fear come to their mind.

Whom to Blame Uber or Driver.
